8 high standing self-catering furnished apartments to rent, all in prime locations in the heart of the historical city center of Dijon, all just a few minutes walk from each other, minimum 3 nights, flexible on arrival & departure.Also a house at only a 10mins drive from the Dijon city center in rural setting.I just writing to say that we are now back in Basel after a hectic month of travelling. We enjoyed our stay in Dijon and the apartment and the location were terrific. The family really enjoyed Dijon as well. Your accommodation is of a high standard and very comfortable.I will certainly recommend you to friends. All the best with the boat venture and the rest of 2009 and beyond. Max and Beatrice will be delighted to welcome you here in the heart of the historical city center of DIJON, once Beatrice knows your arrival time she will meet you at the apartment to give you a full orientation to the apartment and its amenities, as well as practical information on the area.
All 8 of these apartments are ideally situated in prime locations of the historical city center of DIJON within strolling distance to mostly everything!, excellent restaurants, bistros, cafés, boulangeries, super market, high class boutiques, museums (free in Dijon, closed on Tuesdays), antique shops, wine shops, fresh morning market, there is really no need for a car!
These apartments have now been running for several years, they are more than fully equipped with bed linen, towels, basic supply of coffee, tea, milk, water, condiments, cleaning products and a welcome gift from Burgundy! They compare favourably with hotel suites but offer more space, privacy for you, your family and friends, the extra bonus is that you can prepare your own breakfast and 'cook in' to save costs whenever you wish, perfect for those who are on long vacations !
7 apartments have WIFI connection, at the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom duplex apartment in rue Verrerie there is a fixed computer with high speed Internet connection with anti-virus for those who do not wish to carry around their lap tops, also at these apartments in the main bedrooms are efficient air-conditioning units.
Max and Beatrice both speak fluent English, French and German (Max) , they have both lived and worked in the Dijon/Beaune area for the last 26 years working on luxurious hotel and private barges here on the Burgundy canal they both have a vast knowledge of the region and look forward to sharing their delights, culture and secrets with you.
Max who has a lot of experience in Wine & History is the perfect tour guide who will come with his 8 seater mini-van pick you up and drop you off in front of the apartments for a full days "Wine, Historical & Discovery" tour, lunch is reserved in a small famous wine village, the restaurant is in a cellar, where you can eat the best garlic snails and coq au vin in Burgundy, he definately knows where to go... please visit his web page Wine & Historical tours. Cycling
: For those who like to cycle and picnic, then Max and Beatrice can
arrange for you to be picked up in front of the apartment, driven out
maximum 50km and then dropped of beside the Burgundy canal for you to
cycle back all the way down to DIJON, there is a cycle path beside the
Burgundy canal, truly a wonderful day out, don't forget the picnic lunch!
